Workshops

grow • learn • enjoy
Go to the Events Calendar page to see upcoming events.
Mandurah Community Gardens has been hosting community workshops since we opened in 2012. These are a vital activity of the garden, providing a venue for skilled people to pass on their knowledge to others so that we all can have the opportunity to learn something new. It is the living definition of our motto - Grow, Learn, Enjoy!

Our workshops have covered many topics over the years, providing a venue for our members, and local community alike, to learn something new while having fun and making friends with others.

These workshops have covered many topics:
  • About gardening itself, including how to control insects or weeds.
  • We have been shown how to set up organic and sustainable garden beds.
  • We've had fun while learning to make wonderful and crafty creations.
  • Learnt how to make environmentally friendly organic food to grow a healthy garden.
  • And we have been enlightened as to what food really is, and how growing our own good food makes us happier, healthier and smarter.

We are always open to learning something new. So if you have would like to share your expertise with us and teach our community through a workshop held at Mandurah Community Gardens, please contact us - we would love to see you here.
