Mosquitos
Advise for garden visitors and the local community:
We have lots of mosquitos in the community garden, like everywhere in Mandurah at the moment.
We encourage all visitors to dress appropriately and use repellent as there is always a risk of catching a mosquito carried disease like Ross River Virus from a mosquito bite.

Our Facebook Group Has Closed Down
The MCG committee members voted at the last meeting to no longer continue with our private member's Facebook group due to declining interest in using the group, and because of the reduced number of people that are actively using Facebook over the last few years to connect with each other.
We would like to thank our members for their contribution to this Facebook group, with a special thanks going out to Helen Smith and John Draper who have contributed to this Facebook group with their posts over the years.
Members can continue to get in touch with each other by coming to the garden, to our meetings, to workshops and events held at the garden, and at social arrangements.
MCG will continue to have a Facebook page MandurahCommunityGardens. Hope to see you at the garden!

POTTED  PLANT RESCUE  AND REHOMING
Any pre-loved potted plants needing a new home, can be rehomed. We can give unwanted and discarded potted  plants a second chance by rescuing them and then finding a new owner to look after them.

All income from sales goes towards the running costs of Mandurah Community Gardens Inc.
If you, a friend, or family member have potted plants that you would like to go to a good home, please contact us via our form.
Sorry, we can't take Yuccas or Agaves!
