Mosquito Problem Spring 2024
Advise for garden visitors and the local community: We have lots of mosquitos in the community garden, like everywhere in Mandurah at the moment. We encourage all visitors to dress appropriately and use repellent as there is always a risk of catching a mosquito carried disease like Ross River Virus from a mosquito bite. A great resource for the folks of Mandurah with handy information on bin collections, verge collections, recycling and managing waste in a more sustainable way. |
POTTED PLANT RESCUE AND REHOMING
Mandurah Community Gardens is now a place where loved potted plants and potted family treasures that have a story and are needing a new home, can go to. We are offering to give unwanted and discarded potted plants a second chance by rescuing them and then finding them a new home. Any income received will go towards the running costs of the community garden. If you, a friend or family member are downsizing, going into care or are dealing with a deceased estate and have potted plants that you would like to go to a good home, please email Cheryl [email protected] Conditions apply: Sorry, we can't take Yuccas or Agaves. |
