Nasturtium Sandwiches
Have you ever  tried a nasturtium sandwich?

These nasturtiums are doing their own thing looking so bright and pretty growing at Mandurah Community Gardens.

An added bonus is that they have edible leaves and flowers which look great in a salad and have a peppery taste.

  • They are a fantastic living mulch and once they have finished flowering seeds they can be saved for the next season's planting .
  • If left to fall to the ground you will have a lovely display next year. We use the finished plants in our compost after collecting their seeds.
  • Bonus: they are very hardy and don't need much water.
